1. Introduction

By accessing or using our website www.makinfashion.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

These Terms apply to all online purchases, browsing activity, communication, and interactions with our website.

 

 

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or above to make purchases on this website.

  • Minors may browse but must conduct transactions through a parent/guardian.

 

 

3. Product Information

  • We take every effort to display products accurately.

  • Actual colors and textures may vary due to screen settings, lighting, and photography.

  • Measurements may vary slightly depending on style, cut, and fabric.

  • All products are subject to availability.

 

 

4. Pricing

  • All prices displayed on the website are inclusive of applicable taxes.

  • Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice.

  • No price adjustments will be made for purchases before or after a sale.

 

 

5. Orders & Cancellations

  • Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled/ exchanged.

  • In the rare case that an incorrect product is delivered, you may request a replacement.

  • Any accepted cancellation will be at the sole discretion of the brand.

  • Refunds, if approved due to cancellation, will be credited to the original payment method.

  • Dispatch is initiated only after receiving full payment.

 

 

6. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery Timelines

  • Standard delivery takes 30–60 days, depending on the outfit.

  • Urgent delivery requests may be accommodated subject to availability.

Delays May Occur Due To:

  • Incomplete payment

  • Inaccurate/incomplete address

  • Delay in receiving measurements

  • Non-responsiveness from the customer

  • Third-party courier delays (for which we are not liable)

Shipping Charges

  • Domestic shipping is free.

  • International shipping is chargeable based on weight, volume, and destination.

  • Customs duties/taxes for international deliveries must be paid by the customer.

Alterations for Shipped Products

  • For international & domestic shipments, return shipping for alterations must be borne by the customer.

Undelivered Parcels

If the parcel is returned due to non-receipt or failed delivery attempts:

  • We will try to contact the customer again.

  • If unreached for 3 months, the product will be forfeited without refund.

 

 

7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • No returns, exchanges or refunds on: 

    • Sale/discounted items

    • Custom-tailored orders

    • Altered garments

    • Made-to-order outfits

  • Only in case of an incorrect product delivered, an exchange for the correct item will be offered.

 

 

8. Alterations

  • Alterations (if possible) are undertaken at the discretion of the brand team.

  • Sale pieces are not eligible for alterations.

  • Early delivery/custom orders do not qualify for discount-based alterations.

 

 

9. Discounts, Offers & Promotions

  1. Discounts apply only to select products.

  2. Online discounts may not apply to in-store products.

  3. Sale items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

  4. Discount percentages vary by product and final invoice will reflect the correct price.

  5. No discount on custom-tailored or urgent delivery orders.

  6. Promotion codes: 

    • Are non-transferable

    • Cannot be redeemed for cash

    • Cannot be clubbed with other offers unless stated

    • Must be used within the validity period

  7. Price adjustments will not be made for past or future purchases.

  8. Discounts cannot be clubbed with EOSS unless specified.

  9. Payment gateway fees will be as per bank and applicable GST (subject to variation)

    • Domestic: 1.9% +GST

    • International: 2.9% +GST

  10. If an order has both discounted & full-priced items, the discount code applies only to eligible products.

  11. EOSS discounts apply only to available stock, not new production orders.

 

 

10. Gift Offers – Terms

  1. Gifts are issued only when purchase criteria are met.

  2. Only one gift per order.

  3. Gifts cannot be: 

    • Exchanged

    • Returned

    • Redeemed for cash/credit notes

  4. Gifts are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

  5. Alterations for free gifts follow brand policy.

  6. The brand may modify or withdraw gift offers without prior notice.

  7. No returns or refunds on free gifts.

 

 

11. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All content—including text, images, designs, logos, graphics, icons, code—belongs exclusively to [MAK Fashion].
Any unauthorized copying, distribution, reproduction, or misuse will invite legal action.

 

 

12. Use of Website & Electronic Communication

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Not misuse the site

  • Not attempt fraudulent transactions

  • Receive electronic communication from us (emails, notifications, messages)

All communication sent electronically will be considered valid service of notice.

 

 

13. Liability Disclaimer

  • We are not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics.

  • We are not responsible for: 

    • Color variation

    • Sizing variance

    • Fabric characteristics

  • We are not liable for losses arising from: 

    • Customer negligence

    • Incorrect addresses

    • Failure to comply with measurement requests

 

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Bangalore, India].
